IELTS Writing Task 1

The pie charts illustrate the distribution of sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar across four meal categories: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. Each element is represented by a distinct pie chart.

In terms of sodium consumption, snacks account for a substantial 47%, while breakfast contributes the least at 16%. Lunch and dinner have an almost equal share with 19% and 18% respectively. A similar trend is observed in saturated fat intake where snacks are predominant at 42%, followed by lunch at 21%. Breakfast again has the minimal contribution with only 16%.

Contrastingly in added sugar consumption, both snacks and breakfast have a significant share with 42% and 38% respectively. Dinner contributes minimally with just an 11% share while lunch stands at a moderate level contributing to about one-fifth of total added sugar consumption.
