The bar graph illustrates the percentage of Australian males and females who engaged in regular physical activity in 2010, segmented by various age groups. It is evident that participation in physical activity fluctuated across different age brackets and genders.

In the 15 to 24 age group, approximately 47.7% of males and a slightly higher 52.8% of females were involved in regular exercise. This trend of female predominance continued into the 25 to 34 bracket, with women at 48.9%, outpacing men at 42.2%. However, this pattern reversed from the age group of 35 to 44 onwards.

Men aged between 35-44 exhibited a participation rate of approximately 52.5%, surpassing women’s involvement at around just below the halfway mark at about 39.5%. This male dominance persisted into older age groups; men aged between both,45-54 and55-64 showed higher engagement levels than their female counterparts.

In summary, while younger Australian women were more inclined towards regular physical activities, men surpassed them from middle-age onwards. These insights could be instrumental for health campaigns targeting specific demographics to enhance their focus on physical well-being.
